Grasslands
Complex Fire
Yesterday
was a good day to fight fire. Crews on
the Grasslands Complex were able to increase the percent containment from 30 to
70 percent. The fire did not increase in size even with temperatures over 100
degrees and winds gusting to 15 mph. Some areas on the fire are still holding
heat, though these areas are becoming fewer and less impactful as the days
progress.
Today four engines and one hotshot crew will be released with potentially more to follow.
