Update: 6:51 pm 6/23/20, 

The lighting caused #Sandfire was contained at 6:30 pm at 20 acres.  The fire consumed 10 acres on PVT land and 10 acres on the Comanche NG.  Firefighters are still working the fire concentrating on the hotspots.

Update: 3:00 pm 6/8/20 The #Turkey4fire Incident Commander has called the fire controlled at 11:09 am 6/8. 

Update: 11:30 6/8/20 The #Turkey4fire is staffed by firefighters that are improving fireline and working on hotspots. The gate for the Turkey Track area will be opened at noon today for public access.

Update: 5:22 6/7/20 The #Turkey4fire has been declared 100% contained at 5:11 pm for 1.4 acres.  Firefighters are still on scene improving fireline and working on hotspots.

Update: The size of the fire has been adjusted to 1.4 acres, firefighters are working to gain containment and the type 3 helicopter has been released.

The Snowslide fire is now 100% contained and the helicopter has been released and firefighters remain on scene of the fire. 

6/5/20, 9:30am update
Crews are hiking through steep and rugged terrain to gain access to the fire. The helicopter will be utilized today for water drops to assist the firefighters on the ground.
