Fire Activity 4/22/2022

 Allen Creek Fire

Update: 4:00 pm 4/27/2022  The #AllenCreekFireCO has been called controlled at 2:45 pm 4/27/2022 for 13 acres.  Firefighters will continue to patrol the fire.

Update: 7:00 pm 4/24/2022 - The #AllenCreekFireCO is now 100% contained at 13 acres.  Crews are off the incident and will be back on the fire tomorrow morning. 

Update: 9:00 am 4/24/2022 The fire is 50% contained at the end of last nights shift.  The firefighters are back on scene working on improving fireline and putting out hotshots within the interior.  The type 1 helicopter was release yesterday because of the high winds, use of the ship was ineffective.

Update: 5:30 pm 4/23/2022 The #AllenCreekFireCO is now at 13 acres with no reported containment. The Colorado Correctional Industries (CCI) 20 person crew is now on the incident.

Update: 8:30 am 4/23/2022 - Firefighters will continue to improve fire lines and extinguish hot spots. A Type 1 helicopter will be assigned to this incident and assist fire fighting efforts if the winds allow flight activity. A Type 2 crew (20 Firefighters) will arrive at 4:00 pm today.

Update: 9:00 pm 4/22/2022 - Firefighters will be staffing the fire all night working to gain containment.

Update: 7:45 4/22/2022 Fire is now 11 acres in size and firefighters goal is to have the fire line constructed by the end of shift tonight.

Fire Activity 4/21/2022

  Cache Creek Fire

Time Reported: 4/21/2022  1:37 pm

Update: 1:45 pm 4/23/2022 - The #CasheCreekFireCO is currently 50% contained. On site temperature is 33 degrees and the rh is 50%...good fire suppression conditions.

Update: 1:00 pm 4/23/2022 - The #CasheCreekFireCO received snow last night and is currently putting up minimal smoke.  One USFS engine is on site monitoring this fire.

Update: 3:00 pm 4/22/2022 Two USFS engines have been working the fire all day strengthening fire line and mopping up hotspots within the interior.

Update: All county resources have been released from the incident.  USFS firefighters will work the fire until 10:00 pm and then will bed down by the fire,  A module plus one engine is ordered for Fridays shift.

  Rampart Fire

Update: 3:00 pm 4/22/2022 - Firefighters have been working on the fire all day strengthening fire line and mopping up the interior hotspots. 

Update: 4:30 pm 4/21/2022 - All Fire fighting resources will be leaving the incident at 5:00 pm and will be back on the fire early morning.

Update: 1:30 pm 4/21/2022- The #RampartFireCo is 100% contained today at 1:20 pm for 3 acres.  The three engines on scene  are strengthening  the fire line and gridding inside the perimeter mopping up hot spots.   

Update: 9:00 pm 4/20/2022- The #RampartFireCo will be staffed through the night. There are heavy fuels burning that the crews will be working on and the glow will be seen from a far distance.
