Update: 4:00 pm 4/27/2022 The #AllenCreekFireCO has been called controlled at 2:45 pm 4/27/2022 for 13 acres. Firefighters will continue to patrol the fire.
Update: 7:00 pm 4/24/2022 - The #AllenCreekFireCO is now 100% contained at 13 acres. Crews are off the incident and will be back on the fire tomorrow morning.
Update: 9:00 am 4/24/2022 The fire is 50% contained at the end of last nights shift. The firefighters are back on scene working on improving fireline and putting out hotshots within the interior. The type 1 helicopter was release yesterday because of the high winds, use of the ship was ineffective.
Update: 5:30 pm 4/23/2022 The #AllenCreekFireCO is now at 13 acres with no reported containment. The Colorado Correctional Industries (CCI) 20 person crew is now on the incident.
Update: 8:30 am 4/23/2022 - Firefighters will continue to improve fire lines and extinguish hot spots. A Type 1 helicopter will be assigned to this incident and assist fire fighting efforts if the winds allow flight activity. A Type 2 crew (20 Firefighters) will arrive at 4:00 pm today.
Update: 9:00 pm 4/22/2022 - Firefighters will be staffing the fire all night working to gain containment.
Update: 7:45 4/22/2022 Fire is now 11 acres in size and firefighters goal is to have the fire line constructed by the end of shift tonight.
