Update 10/17/24 1:30 pm Fire crews utilized Douglas County Helicopter to assist with bucket drops. After mapping the fire the correct acreage is .25 acre. Firefighters remain on scene to continue with mop up operations.

Update 10/04/2024 7:00pm #TurkeyTracks7Fire_CO is 100% contained resources have constructed line around the fires edge and will return tomorrow for mop up operations.

Initial response: Douglas County helicopter and several engines responds to the 5 acre Turkey Tracks 7 Fire.  Douglas County helicopter is actively conducting bucket drops over the fire. For the safety to the public and firefighters please avoid entering the Turkey Tracks shooting range and surrounding area.
