Swan
  • Approximately 1/2 mile N of Buffalo Creek
  • Reported: 5:56 pm, Initial Response: 6:08 pm
  • Burning in heavy dead and downed Ponderosa Pine and Douglas Fir.
  • Size .5 acres
  • Jurisdiction: State Land
  • Resources on Scene: USFS, North Fork Fire, and Jefferson County Sheriffs Office
  • Smoke visible from Buffalo Creek, Pine Grove, CR 126 and CR 97
  • No structures threatened 
  • Crews from USFS and North Fork Fire are constructing fireline around the fire.  Fire is still .5 acres in size.
