Update: 6/25/2023 @5:00 pm  Due to better mapping the Wild Canyon fire is set for 0.6 acre. Minimal smoke and heat on the fire, resources will continue to patrol and check the incident until it is controlled. 

Update: 6/24/2023 @6:00 pm The Wild Canyon fire has been declared 100% contained as of 5:26pm today, the size remains 2.2 acres. All resources have been released form the incident. 

Update: 6/24/2023 @4:35 pm Fire fighters have made progress on the Wild Canyon fire. The fire line perimeter is holding at 2.2 acres, with very few interior smokes showing. Resources will continue to mop up interior hot spots.  

Update: 6/24/2023 @12:30 pm Fire investigators have determined that the cause of the Wild Canyon Fire was lightning. Water is being supply by helicopter resources as fire fighters continue to suppress the fire.
